Summer Liner Company Limited, trading as Summer Tea, was founded in 2006 by Mr. Fredrick Ndonga and Mrs. Janeffer Gatuiku in Mombasa, Kenya. What began as a passion for promoting Kenya’s rich tea heritage has grown into a thriving export business serving clients across the globe.
Our Journey
From our earliest days, we focused on building strong relationships within the Kenyan tea industry. Our registration with the East African Tea Trade Association (EATTA) gave us access to the Mombasa Tea Auction, the largest tea auction in Africa.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our sourcing network to include tea factories across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi. Today, we work with over 90 certified suppliers and export to more than 75 countries.
